So, how’d I solve the stroller dilemma that plagued me before my big trip …. the Joovy Caboose.
Confused? Yes, you are right, that wasn’t a choice. In fact, I didn’t even own it. I actually went out and bought a new stroller just for my trip to Argentina.
After my post on the stroller dilemma, my mother talked to me on the phone and reminded me of one very important fact. My son sees his stroller as his cocoon, his safe place. When he is uncomfortable or in a situation he doesn’t like, he looks for the stroller. Here I was, taking him to a place he’s never been. Of course he was going to need a stroller. And that would mean that my daughter would spend most of the time on our back in the Ergo. And neither one of us have a good back…

So a quick search online found the Joovy Caboose was highly recommended, and one of the smallest folding double stroller. A search on Craigslist found it at a price I was willing to pay, and before you knew it, five days before leaving for our trip, we were the proud owners of a new-to-us Joovy Caboose.

After one month of travel I can say that it was one of the best last minute purchases I have ever made for a trip. If you are interested, you can read my full review of the Joovy Caboose here.
And for those counting, that now makes me the owner of five strollers. This from the girl who swore she would be a one stroller mom. Sigh…
